Len,

Yes, I do.  Mix equal amounts of vinegar with sugar & heat until the sugar is dissolved.  Keep out of light.  I store my jars in the fridge.  I believe that sugar is the key.

Not a perfect solution, but the best that I have found so far.  Am curious to see what other's suggest.
