My personal objection-if people want mild peppers there are plenty of mild
varieties available. The only reason I can see for heatless jals or habs is
so the wimps can say "I ate one". As many pods will tell you, the heat
level of peppers available in markets seems to have declined since the
introduction of the wimp peppers. I don't really want to have to stand in
the store and take a taste test of the habs to see if they're "real" before
I buy some. Plus, there is the worry about cross pollination-and the
weakening of the heat in all pepper seeds. It's a stupid marketing gimick,
geared towads the lowest common denominator.
