That is the brand that Ming Tsai (from East Meets West on TV Food Network)
says is his favorite of fish sauce. I've seen it in the oriental markets in
Edison and Iselin.
Alex, wish I had that store near me! Wow. DH would never get me out of
there. And it would cost a fortune to get me out of there too.
We had a similar place near my old house (about 30 minutes away actually).
They called it an International Market. Each aisle was a different ethnic
group - Chinese, Thai, Phillipino, Indian, Mexican. The first place I ever
bought chipotle en adobo and saw huge cans of serrano chiles. Loved it but
my son didn't so we rarely went there.
Now I have nowhere like that around where I am. So jealous.
If I want a shopping experience like that I have to go back to my old
neighborhood - about 1 hr 15 minutes from here. Oh boy. Maybe I should make
a play date with Trev's old friends so we can go back there??? Hmmm...
