Ordered 5 bottles of the new Tabasco Chipotle sauce about a month ago. I am
very disappointed to say the least. In my opinion the vinegar is way over
powering. There is a nice "smoky" aroma, but I don't care for the taste.

The ingredients list reads as follows:
chipotle peppers
distilled vinegar
water
salt
sugar
onion powder
garlic powder
spices
natural flavor
TABASCO pulp (red peppers, distilled vinegar, spices)

I was expecting something really good and the shipping prices kill ya so I
ordered 5 bottles. Thought about even sending them back. Arghhhhh! Anyway,
they don't get my recommendation thats for sure. My favorite is still
Bufalo Chipotle.

LURK MODE: OFF

Just wanted to let the hot sauce collectors out there know that Tabasco®
recently released a limited supply (10,000 units) of their new Chipotle
flavored sauce. It's only available online or via their paper catalog. I
just got my 4 bottles in the mail today. Haven't had a chance to sample it
yet, but I'll let you know.

Also, I have about 6-8 seedlings of various (8 - 10+ heat) pepper plants
started under HID lights indoors (Long-time chilehead, first time gardener!)
I've been learning alot between the C-H mail lists and the GardenWeb posts.
So far, so good. I'm sure I'll have questions as problems arise. :̃ I'm also
growing tomatoes, okra, and a few herbs.

P.S. - Tom: Got the C-H Card yesterday! (#2206) Looks great! Thanks!
