Back in my halcyon days of college, I used one of those 16 oz. plastic Coca-Cola bottles with the screw-off caps as a chile-powder shaker. I simply drilled the cap full of 1/16 inch holes and went from there. I put a teaspoon of rice in the bottle as a dessicant (Bloomington, Indiana is a damp place), and there you have it.
