Tom,

Yes, where you live in the Ticino you can get your chillies all the time.

However, I just talked to my sister: the Migros in Brig carries chillies 
only sporadically, and the small Migros where my parents live, never has 
any.

Lucky you, the Ticino is more open and hotter.... Wishing you a great
