Pods,

Last night I roasted a turkey breast, and it worked out well.  I like the 
results from using an injector.  I make a fluid from water, salt, some 
butter, and seasonings including celery salt and various herbs, and onion 
and garlic powders.  Before injecting, I strained the fluid through a very 
fine mesh so as not to clog the needle.

So I asked myself, Self, what would it be like to add a bit of chipotle 
powder to that seasoning mix?  I didn't try it because I know no one else in 
the house wants a peppery-tasting turkey.  That still leaves open the 
possibility of using a smoked version of a less-pungent pepper variety.  Has 
anyone tried this?
