By far the best "finisher's medals" I have gotten were made
by my friend Fred Howes for our annual Jan 1 Chili Run.
For three years we got wooden chili peppers, painted
different colors, and fixed so that we use them as
ornaments on the christmas tree. Then the last year or
two he has made tabasco sause bottles in the same way.
I cherish those much more than any of the race medallions,
and I have tons of those piled on a shelf.

In fact I was thinking of having Fred make something for
KUTS6, but don't tell anyone!!!
