Hi All,

Here I come out of lurking mode. Zaxby's is the only place where I will
order hot wings. They are the only place in my town that has a sauce that
has good flavor and decent heat. When they first opened, the hottest sauce
they had was the Nuclear and it was still better than any other place in
town. when they came out with the Insane sauce they made a permanent
customer out of me. My other half can only stand the nuclear but he is a CH
in training.

I have to say that one of my pet peeves is ordering the hot wings and having
the waitress tell you how hot they are only to find that they have watered
down the Texas Pete and hot is the last thing they are. Hot wings should be
HOT!

Hi All --

I wanted to get the input of some Deep South Chile Heads regarding Zaxby's.
 I am happy to
report that I was sorely mistaken!  I found the chicken to be not only very
tasty, but also very hot.  My wife, a moderate CH, could only eat two of her
"insane" wings.

I don't want to give the wrong impression here -- we weren't exactly
chugging Dave's Insanity Sauce directly from the bottle or anything -- but I
was quite pleased to get this type of heat from a fast food joint.  I just
wanted to see if any other CH's had tried Zaxby's and had the same
experience....or, maybe I just found the Zaxby's-CH Holy Grail somewhere in
the back woods of SC?
