A cheap coffee/spice grinder is what you need. Powders stuff up nice, and does a pretty good job of keeping the dust contained. Just use caution when removing the top and you should be able to work in the comfort of your own kitchen. Picked mine up at WaMart (a Black & Decker, I think) for $20-$25. Just reserve its use to chiles. John Putney
