Friends and Neighbors
Had a great meal last Saturday in Bethesda, MD. Met up with a cousin I
hadn't seen since we were 10 year-old kids. He asked if I liked
oriental/hot food. Said yes -- went to a Mongolian Grill in downtown
Bethesda. We liberally applied chopped green chiles, chile sauce and red
pepper flakes to our bowls, the cooks remarked that they would be 'very
spicy'. We said -- we know. The waiter brought our first bowls to the
table and said we darn near killed the cooks with the fumes from when they
dumped the bowls on the grills! We just smiled -- The next trip I tried
noodles, shrimp, scallops and red chiles with chile sauce, great food!
