Greetings from So. CA,
and this year, it truly was an adventure...Gecko Gary's and d'Oni decided to 
take down the barrier between our two booths and create a little theme.  They 
had the backyard and we had the gourmet dining room theme.  Imagine the shock 
when our dear friend was rushed off.  Thankfully, he is fine and taught us 
all a lesson about working way too hard!  I am glad that Chip is fine too, 
since he is one of the most loveable guys in our industry.

Jim, Curt and Suzy, it was a pleasure meeting you (though I feel like I've 
known you for years!).  It was also a pleasure getting a chance to sit down 
and talk with Dave, from Dave's Insanity, my favorite CaJohn and the guys 
from Blairs and Original Juans.  

I have always said the people in our industry, including us chile heads, are 
what makes it the best industry to be in.  I think by the end of the show we 
were all slap happy (did I mention I had a broken foot) and all a little 
overwhelmed by the by the excitement --  but all in all, it was a good show 
for us the evil corporate types.
