One of my favorite ways to eat cabbage is the following

Jamaican-Style Cabbage

1/4 head	cabbage, rough chopped
4-5 cloves	garlic, mashed
1/2 med onion, cubed
3 C chicken stock
1/8 tsp allspice
1 habanero/scotch bonnet, halved

Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and boil until tender as you like. You may not need all the chicken stock,
but if you like it very tender you may have to replace what boils off. I usually discard the chiles before I serve it, but that's
a personal thing.
