I had a number of wonderful (chilified) meals at Elephant Walk, a Cambodian
restaurant in Somerville over the years. I haven't been there since the
mid-90s', but I would guess that they are still there and doing well. They
were definitely the "in' place for a while, but it didn't seem to cause the
usual "cooling down" to popular taste that is so discouragingly common.
I just did a Switchboard check for address and see that there are 3
Elephant Walk's in Massachusetts, Cambridge, Boston and Provincetown. I
guess my memory is faulty or they moved, expanded or something else
entirely. Possibly all of the above. I can't even verify that all three
are restaurants for sure, but that shouldn't be too tough once your in the
area.
