Well, the hotluck was fun again, it was nice to see all the people, now can
I go back to bed? I'm bone tired today, paying for all the hiking I did
with Chad and Laura on Saturday.

This year had a few new faces and new products, and of course, new victims.
People ignored the "don't eat the bread" warning signs ... like moths to the
flame. Jim Campbell was stomping his feet to keep warm in the back room.
Steve Thomas was pulling some excellent pork butt and ribs off the OK Joe
smoker. It was funny to sit at the end of the bar and watch when another
tray of meat would be placed out. People would come to it in streams; it
was like watching a bird feeder. There was live music from the Ellie Maes,
and I couldn't help thinking it would be pretty easy to make a C-H parody of
the song "Porcelain Still." But I kept quiet.

I took about 130 pictures at the event and in Clifty Falls State Park. I'll
put some of them up on my chile image page as soon as ZzzzZzz zZZzz zZz
zZZZz zzz

Huh?

Oh, the park was beautiful, lots of spring flowers, blue sky days and starry
nights. On Saturday night I was running a little electric heater and the
laptop in the tent. The Saturday hike included a walk through an unfinished
railroad tunnel, the only place I know where you need a lantern to hike in a
park in the daytime.

Thanks again to all, see you next year.
