Peter,
   I've been interested in some kind of "stove top" or "oven" smoker since
trying to smoke some Jals in my grill to make chipotle (which was a
disaster, too much heat/ too little smoke/too much beer/too little checking
over 24hrs., you get the idea). Was in Wal-Mart last week & saw a "stove
top" smoker pkg. that caught my eye & almost bought it 'cept what I was
looking for was out of stock(seed starting stuff) & I didn't have time to
stand in checkout line. It was in the garden dept. near the grilling stuff.
If you have a Wally World near you, check it out. If you don't or can't find
it, contact me & I'll return to mine & buy 1 to get you the info & me a
stove top smoker.

PS As I remember it was a disposable kind/not an expensive unit like Sausage
