Just received my message from these folks -- 11:05 AM EDT Monday, 4/29/2002.

That said, I am also a member of a Yahoo! BBQ list -- is it possible that
these folks have unleashed a bot on a monster list (i.e., multiple Yahoo!
lists) rather than on our little 'ol homegrown list....?

Hope all is well with everyone. I met my first list member "off-Internet"
yesterday -- Sarah Banick from right here in Atlanta. Super nice woman
(what would I expect from a fellow CH?) -- we discussed the possibility of a
SE Hot Luck this summer -- anyone interested?

Matt

Subject: [CH] San Francisco Sauce Factory

Hi C-H's,

Did anyone else receive spam from these guys? Am I correct in
guessing that they trawled the C-H archives for email addresses?

"This special offer is valid for customers of the San Francisco Sauce
Factory. We sent you this email because you asked for updates about
new products and promotions."

No I didn't.
