   I have had aphids attack my chiles a few times and found
that using plain old water from a spray bottle to knock them
off works best.  You have to be vigilant and repeat the process
a few times.  Don't forget to knock off the ones that gather
under the leaves.

   It also helps if you stop the attack before it becomes an
infestation.  I usually notice them before they get too well
organized and the colonies are pretty small.  I can't be the only
Chile-Head that checks his plants before work, after work, at
sunset and sometimes the middle of the night just to check their
progress and give them encouragement, can I?
