Me too - my last day is June 28. So use kstober@skyweb.net after June 27.

So, I'm selling illustrations, I got some interest for my web design
skills, I'm applying for my AFM membership (but there isn't any work for
musicians at this time) and a local Y is hiring aerobics instructors ( I am
AFAA certified). I must now charge an industry standard fee for my
photography, and people are finding all sorts of reasons to be cheap. My
sister has been unemployed since February. She works in HR and has been
told to switch careers, there is no work for HR people. Too many with more
experience are unemployed at this time. Both of us live at home with Dad,
and he pays the bills.

There is no free in freelancing. Do it for a fee. As my professors have
told me, stand up for what you are worth. If they wont pay your fee, and,
as a newcomer, you are on the low side, then they are just cheap. They
will get what they pay for. I also learned a lot about usage and re-use
rights and copyrights.
