Hope not to rain on any parades, but where did the concept of punishment for an accident arise. Seems she deserves an appreciative hug for cleaning up a mess that somebody else set up. Seems to me she was the victim. The punishment, if any is deserved, should fall on the person who set up the potentially dangerous accident.
