[CH] winter care

 Hello, CHs everywhere. I just finished picking the last of the season, and
was wondering about plant care for the winter. Last year I just left my
chiles be and most came back, but getting a bit more serious now about the
growing(as well as the eating), Is it best to cut back any or all of the
plants before spring. It is a bit late in the season but they just kept on
producing although now it looks like getting cold.  We haven't had a frost
in the 3 years we've been here, but the area has. I have never tried to let
things go to the next year (last year I just never pulled them out)and would
really love to see some of these plants make it . Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

p.s. to Luke in Oz, we will try to find you in Sawtell, we will be the large
middle aged  group that looks as if they had been up playing cards and
trying to still be 18 until 2 am
