Although Yellowknife has only 20,000 souls and is located on the edge of
the arctic, we have a large Asian population and a good Vietnamese
grocery store. The owner, Kim, carries frozen durian fillets and says he
can special order a fresh whole fruit for me from his Vancouver
wholesaler *if* I pay the air freight. I haven't taken him up on his
offer as I'm not so fond of it that I would want a whole one.
