[CH] Flying with peppers

I took a trip to Texas a month or so ago and decided to chance taking a
collection of peppers to my friends along with some good old Indiana goat
cheese. I put them both in my purse and would have certainly given them up
if anyone questioned them but I t hought it was worth a try.
Oh the irony! Both of those were completely passed over without any
comment. Since I was profiled in a big way (I was searched 3 times and I
do mean SEARCHED! they even took my hair down and felt all around my scalp
in 2 different cities!???) they completely unpacked my carry on (twice
inthe same airport) and wanted to confiscate my toothpaste, face cream,
lotion and whiskey, but each time said the peppers were fine.
I even had a vegan meal on the plane that was pretty spicy. It made up for
the guy who refused to sit next to me.
