Sounds like I had better bring that tequila again...

As for the rain, yes, I expect it without even knowing the forecast yet.  
This event has its origins in the close of the season, and that has meant 
summer's warm weather blowing away, literally, to be replaced by frost.  
Rael needed an LL Bean North Face Thinsulate Twister pad last year.  In 1998 
I learned what a "frost swale" is by camping in it.
