L.B.,
I thought you lived in a Zone that the tundra never defrosted???
Woodchucks??? I thought Polar Bears were your main problem???
Pretty soon your gonna try & tell us you got prairie dog infestation.
Then what? Gila Monsters & Prickly Bears a problem?
Tee Hee! Tee Hee!
& then you complain the frost killed your plants but left no trace on
car/truck windows??? Oh sure 'Ya gut no wetherperson to tell 'Ya it gets
*cold* in the fall in the desert....ooooppppsss.... I mean great white
north.
All kidding aside, my uncle's favorite method for woodchuck eradication is
firecrackers. Where the hole is you want to stop them from using, light a
pkg. of firecrackers, throw in hole, cover so noise & smoke does not escape.
Repeat hourly for 1 weekend. Stick hose in hole & turn on. When well runs
dry you have a 50/50 chance of being successful.
(Now the truth, get up early, hide well, 22 to head).
