Found this on Babycenter.com:
"You'll be able to figure out if your child is sensitive to something you
eat or drink, because she'll show her discomfort by being fussy after
feedings, crying inconsolably, or sleeping very little. Although some women
swear that spicy dishes upset their babies, trial and error may be your best
guide, because food-induced irritability differs markedly from one infant to
the next. If you find you can eat a hot salsa burrito, garlic chicken, or
fiery vegetable curry without making your baby unhappy, then dig in. One
note of caution: Some common colic offenders include broccoli, cabbage,
Brussels sprouts, and cow's milk."

Never a problem with my wife ... she doesn't like the spicy foods. However,
my 2-year-old son HAS to have hot sauce on his mac-n-cheese just like daddy.
He discovered he liked it one day when he started eating out of my bowl
while I was getting him a refill of juice. My wife still freaks out that I
pour hot sauce on his mac-n-cheese, but he eats it and never gets tummy
troubles. Makes me proud.

Brad
