Hey pods,
I was watching this stupid show yesterday and to our surprise they came with
a taste test! They had the (according to them) top 10 of hot sauces sitting
on the table in front of them. The host brought on a taste expert, a 'hot'
expert and a victim...er...volunteer from the audience. The top ten had #1
Tabasco, can't remember the rest much but #6 was Smack my ass and call me
Sally and the #7 was Mad Dog's Revenge and the #10 was a sauce called
Caldero(?). They didn't even open the bottle since he said that it was
forbidden since it was too hot to try. Never heard of it...
The taste expert said that Habaneros were never to be touched without gloves
because the would blister the skin. And the 'hot' expert was just some
Indonesian restaurant owner that thought he could take it. The audience
member was randomly picked.
The first try was the #6. The audience member tried it and started sweating
and coughing instantly. The res owner tried it and said it was hot but he
could take it. We laughed and waited. All of a sudden he started sweating
and coughing! We laughed our asses off! It was so recognizable! After a few
minutes they were feeling so bad they went for the milk and the krupuk that
was sitting on the table for relief. Hahaha!!! And to think they watered
down the sauces for less pain!!!
So what is Caldero?
