Maybe. I'm down at 40deg N (like Madrid) in the US.

Glad you're enjoying an early Spring. It doesn't get cold in 
Scotland, but it's pretty strong contender in the wet and miserable 
department!

You need a lean-too greenhouse pointing towards EDI and chile growing 
will be easy in the long daylight Summer months.
