Mary-Anne

Mary Anne, can you help me with something?? I tried to
post the following message to the Chile-Heads list and
it told me there was a fatal error with the address.

Subject: New Frank's Xtra Hot Sauce

After hearing that Frank's had a new Xtra Hot sauce
out there in the markets, I thought I would pick up a
bottle today. As we all know, my hubby loves their
regular sauce. Loves it. So, he was happy to see they
came out with a new one.

When I got it home, I opened it and put a drop on my
finger. It was noticeably more hot than normal.

When I made sandwiches for lunch, I put some on my
plate and Steve dipped his sandwich into it.

Opinions:

Mine - I like it better than the other kind. More
heat, same flavor.

Steve - doesn't like it as much. Too hot. Likes the
regular Frank's better. Will mix it with regular or
with ketchup to use it up.

I said I would use it, along with the Texas Pete's,
and use it up. They were both similar to me - more
heat, more flavor than the regular Frank's and
definitely better than Tabasco regular sauce.

So, if you like Frank's flavor but not their heat
factor, you will like the new Xtra Hot Frank's. If you
like Frank's regular sauce, you might not like the
hotter one. If you are a medium heat C-H, you will
like it. It isn't too hot.

The thing I like the most about the bottle is the
little glass chiles and the name Frank's 1920 on the
sides of the bottle. I love those little glass chiles!

Just my 2 cents on the new stuff,
