[CH] Pay back time...

Hi all,

I've got a friend going to the States on Thursday next week and I want to
send some of my sauces with him to be tasted and (hopefully) enjoyed by as
many of my fellow Chile-Heads as possible. (He's going to Miami to work in
some sort of Carnival/Circus outfit.)

Being in South Africa I haven't been paying much attention to dates for, for
instance, the "Field of Screams" and other get-togethers.

What I'm planning to do is have my friend take the boxed sauces and than
send them once he's in the USA. Any suggestions as to the best place and way
to send once there? I seem to remember something about Jim not being able to
attend this years event... Any suggestions as to who should be on the
receiving end. I would have asked Jim myself but I saw today he's gone onto
snail mail for a while.

I'm planning on sending a sampler of my products, namely:

Shaka's Revenge, Hot
African Red Mule, Hot
Cry Babies Chilli Liqueur
Habanero Chilli Relish

Since having subscribed to the list in 1999 as a Chile-Head novice, I've
learnt that "Hunan Hand" has a name (not to mention Chilly Willy, or is that
a local thing?); the serious nature of "Cat-Taping"; That I can stand-up and
be "out and proud" that I'm a Moderate; that "Twister" has subtle depths
never dreamt of by it's creator; that "Jacaima/Vivaldia" repeats itself; and
that, indeed, chiles must soften the brain and make people, for the most
part, relaxed, friendly and inclined to help others.

You, my fellow Chile-Heads, have been instrumental in getting me up and
running, supplying me with advice, seeds, recipe ideas and inspiration and
I'd like to do something in return. (Besides just saying a whole-hearted
"Thank-you".)

Thanks, and kind regards,

Steve Duddy
