Just want to thank you all for the warm welcomes I've received, both on and off list. Trip to the greenhouse proved my earlier comment correct - very little in stock yet, just too early.

I'm located in a small valley in the northern Rocky Mountains...no snow left on the ground, but plenty in the hills/mountains. I came home with some hardier herbs and some onion sets. The herbs will come indoors overnight...

I'm learning a lot reading through the archives, although the information is overwhelming (both for learning to grow chiles and a lot of other "informative"......stuff). I think I have some Habanero and some Thai seeds in the cellar (leftover from a broken romance - don't recall the specifics) - will have to go locate them and give that a try, although I've usually not been very successful at starting my own plants from seeds. At least, if I don't succeed with these, I can chalk it up to Bad Karma!!

I found the articles/messages about marking one's territory quite interesting - another list I'm on was just discussing the advantages men have w/being able to do thusly while in an upright position while we womenfolk are reduced to "squating with our spurs on". The discussion included information on how women could, with enough practice, become somewhat accurate themselves, with a more.....'feminine' technique. Will have to reread those messages... Sounds like a ritual that might also need the dark of night, with perhaps a rising full moon in the background, and some gourds being rattled, and chanting, and... sorry got carried away.

Lots to learn here.... but I DO come w/ my own Twister (TM!) game...do I get points for that? (However, I have never had the experience of playing "nekkid" - did I get that spelling right?)

Later -
