[CH] What's wrong with my lovely Scotch Bonnet plant?

Denise,

I had something similar,  It looks like fly spec fungus, found in apples and
hibiscus.

My County Agent suggested 1/2 strength Liquid copper and 1/2 strength
Mancozeb. This worked but if it's in pots, move the plants outside for a few
hours.

~ Daconil is NOT list for peppers

One thing that works for me is 1/4 to 1/2 cup of food grade cornmeal
sprinkled around the base of the plant.

Symptons: black spots appear round leaf margin, developing into black-rimmed
cuts with the whole leaf peppered with small black spots with yellow haloes.
Middle of plant defoliated over 3-4 days since when defoliation ceased. Red
herry Hot in same planter was unaffected but may now be showing 1st signs.
Help please XXX, D.
