Hello Jens, Enjoy Toronto! There aren't many of us Chileheads here, that I know about anyhow. Gary is outside the city in St Catherines, (I know Gary will probably correct me there) and I am just north of the city in Toronto. In spite of the fact that Toronto is the most ethnically diverse city in the world, with nearly 3 million people, there are not many places for Chileheads to eat as hot as we like. There are lots of Jamaican places, ... if you haven't tried Roti or Jerk Chicken that would be the place! I highly recommend chicken roti. There are dozens of roti shops. Also there are several restaurants in the area of town where I worked that are Hakka Chinese.... Hakka (I think)is a province of China that eats far hotter than the usual Cantonese or even Schezuan. I love Chili Chicken at a Hakka restaurant. We have several Cajun places, including New Orleans Cajun Desire which is where the first (mini) Chilehead dinner took place a couple of years ago. Contact me off list if you would like to have addresses or phone numbers of these places. Gary and I might be around if you wanted to meet some genuine Canadian Chileheads. (have to bring a non-CH friend with me, though!)
