Hi dear friends, I'm traveling to Chicago IL in wk 32 and will stay a few days in Freeport (this isn't spectacular) but have some time left for shopping, eating and sight seeing in Chicago on Thursday night and most of the Friday. Anyone who knows some great 'hot-spots' in Chicago or knows interesting shop's selling any thing interesting for a 'Dutch' Chile Head? Peppers are growing fabulous, the weather has been so good the past weeks, all my plants, and specially all my rocoto's, are loaded with flowers and fruits, first harvest of Biker billies already eaten, there spicy! My tomatillo's are 1.5 meter high and there so many fruits on there that they looks like Christmas trees... I've a good time... But anyone knows how you know or can see when a tomatillo is full grown or ready to use? First time for me that I grow them, I can see a little similarity with the as we call them 'Kaapse kruisbes', I thought the Latin name is Physalis. From these the outer 'shell's is turning red when there ok... same for Tomatillo? Looking forward to any response. Hot regards AND have a nice weekend
