Hi Diane, My tomatillo's are about 5 feet high and loaded with fruit, but it looks like it takes for ever before the first husk shows up. I thought also that it didn't work... but today the tomatillo's are so big that some of the husks already burst open and shows the fruit. Good luck growing Rob NL ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Salts" <diannesalts@comcast.net> To: "chili" <chile-heads@globalgarden.com> Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2003 7:43 AM Subject: [CH] tomatillo question > Hi all! > I have four tomatillos about 18" tall, loads of beautiful blooms. But, I don't see any fruit! this is the first time I have grown them. When do they start fruiting? I have lots of bees to pollinate the flowers, so what is going on with the plants? Is this normal? > Thanks, > Diane > diannesalts@comcast.net > Life isn't like a box of chocolates......... It's more like a jar of > jalapenos. What you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow
