Hi C-H's, >Well folks, I just walked the fields today for the first time since >June. > >They look horrible. Hi guys, I'm at work with my dad.I had nothing better to do but to read a chile-head digest, but when I was reading the digest and was seeing the consequences of spam and HTML I noticed an e-mail from the famous Jim Campbell. And of course every year I look forward to going, seeing him, and picking chile peppers! When I saw his E-mail I was upset!I think Jim should realize that it's fun just going and seeing him.Thats really stupid that anyone should feel embarrassed that they're giving away peppers from 6,000 pepper plants! So Jim, thanks just for inviting us! Bill, I can't wait to see you and what color your hair is! see ya, Gavin My chile plants too are the worst I can remember. Plus I compounded the problem by leaving the irrigation system on while I was away for 4 weeks! Time to buy a moisture sensor. Just in the last couple of weeks the weather has improved and the leaves of the plants transformed from yellow to a healthy rich green. It says much for the hardiness of Capsicums that they were able to shed their leaves many times and still recover. I am going to send Jim a cheque for one of the posters and pick it up when we go over there. That way he'll have a little cash in hand. The more of us that do this the better of course. I wonder if we can talk him into letting us chip in for the rental of the toilet facilities? :-) -- --- Regards, Cameron.
