As I've mentioned before, Goya makes a Hab Cheddar and a Chipotle Cheddar that are both good. They are sold at A&P up here in the Northeast. I have bought them at 2 of them in NJ. I don't think they sell them all the time though. Cabot's also makes a decent Pepper Jack too. A nice jalapeno bite to it. I've also tried the Sonoma Jack Habanero cheese and it is sooo good - and hot. I have trouble finding it here in NJ. I think I saw it at Boundbrook Shoprite once - ages ago. Don't know if they sell it. I was at Foodtown in Freehold yesterday and they didn't have it. They had Maytag Blue which I find is not that easy to find. I bought some to have with my heirloom tomatoes. I only saw a couple of different pepper jack cheeses, companies I've never heard of. Didn't buy any though. I find Foodtown VERY expensive. Anyway, I have found that most spicy cheeses, aren't! Or they are for people who only like a minimal amount of spice in their life. For those who really like chiles, there are very few cheeses that have enough heat to them. Maybe one day I'll get a chance to try the one that Jim C just told us about. Sounds right up my alley! The Sonoma Jack was up there. Delightful cheese! RisaG Chile-Head & Proud! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
