When I got outside to look at the pots and the raised bed today, I saw that my Orange Devil Hab plant has several chiles on it that are ripening. I have one in particular. I took a picture of it. I am so thrilled to finally have some ripe ones. I noticed that I also have some ripening Lemon Drops (yes, actually yellow), Guam Boonies, Fish Peppers, and Stripe Peppers. The Orange Thais are still green. I hope they ripen before the first frost! The peppers in the raised bed are not even close to ripening yet. I hope they start soon. I am planning on make 1 really great batch of habanero sauce with my one plant of Orange Devil Habs. I will bring the plant in to overwinter, along with the Lemon Drop plants, one Guam Boonie, one Orange Thai, the one and only Ring of Fire and the Fish Pepper plant. I don't know if I have enough room in front of the big window in the basement for them but we'll see. I might have to move some of my sons stuff! Time to get rid of those toys anyway! Happy am I! Ripe chiles! RisaG __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free, easy-to-use web site design software http://sitebuilder.yahoo.com
