This is a recipe from the Anchor Wing Bar in Buffalo NY that Risa and I both found. I made it today... it is zowie!! I didn't have jalapenos so I used these innocent little unnamed peppers that my cleaning lady left for me. Whatever they are, it is NOT jalapenos! wow. This dip was incredible! My beloved Cameron and I had it years ago at a Mexican/Cajun restaurant called Dona Miguel's that is now gone. Jalapeņo Dip Also from Wings Across America, this spicy dip offers a nice crunch and contrasts well with mild wings. 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 jalapeņo pepper, seeded, minced 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp each: cumin, onion powder 1/8 tsp each: salt, pepper In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Refrigerate until chilled. Makes about 1-2/3 cup. Notes: I added several good shots of a mild hot sauce for flavour and a good shot of a HOT habanero one. Also increased the black pepper and added some lime juice... maybe a tablespoon.
