Bruce Cameron and you can read his original story at http://www.wbrucecameron.com/pages/columns/chilijudge.htm. I'm sorry I won't be able to make the Open Fields but I'll be thinking of you. Luckily, I've been getting a good crop of tomatoes and chiles from my garden. Yesterday I took four batches of salsa with increasing heat levels to a company picnic we had. Almost everybody loved the "Medium," lots of people liked the "Hot and Spicy," some people favored the "Scorching," and only a select few really enjoyed the "Seriously Bad Ass" batch (lots of habaneros & Dave's Insanity + other chiles). A few people told me they didn't think it could be "that serious" until they tasted it then they all wondered, "You don't really eat that stuff, do you?" Yep, and I enjoy it. Have a great time at Open Fields and don't forget to post the pictures for us less-fortunate folks. -- Mike (C-H #36, hab seed intact) Carpe Capsicum! (My words, not NASA's)
