Still hasn't frosted here in my area of SoCal, we had wonderful warm weather until a week ago. We were evacuated (fires) and my poor peppers almost smothered with smoke last week. Our warm weather didn't begin until mid June so planting was late and the peppers finally peaked last month. Last weekend I picked a whole bunch of jalps & habs, etc., but now the plants are looking sickly. I saved seeds for the next crop, but ... winter is not fun. Tomatoes did NOT do well at all this year, so much for fresh mater & pepper salsa. > We blew it this year.
