Enough of this unsubscribing, already. How about a new recipe? Tried this at a party the other day (all CH's so I couldn't add any heat - a little Apple Smoked would have made it even better, and it did for what was on my plate), and it disappeared immediately. In an ungreased 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan, tear up a half dozen fresh corn tortillas. Cover with a thick layer of your favorite chile verde recipe, then a layer of grated Colby Jack (1/4 to 1/2 lb depending on your preference). Put down another layer of tortilla, a healthy bunch of large roasted green chile pieces, more chile verde and another bunch of cheese. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes, then turn on the broiler and crisp the top for 5 minutes. I also poured a cup of chicken bullion over the top before baking since my chile verde was really thick. Methinks a layer of sliced fresh habs would have gone quite nicely, too. Fred the habaneronut
