Well one and all.

I thought I would drop a line about my first year Chili garden.

I planted a bunch of hot peppers of different varieties. Out of the
some 20 or so that I tried. My personal favorites turned out to
be:

Golden Hab's for distinct flavor
Hot Lanterns for best flavor to heat ratio

Keep in mind my taste buds are new to hot pepper tasting. So I
don't have a lot of experience.

I was upset that I did not realize that I had not planted any Rocoto's for
me to try. I will have to give those a shot next year.

The Garden did not do as well as it should. I have a list of "Lessons
learned" for
next year. Plus a couple that fall into the category of "I knew better but
did not
think of it till it was to late".

This year was a year of to much of a good thing when it came to rain. In
this
part of Virginia (Amherst) the last part of the summer is usually very hot
with
only the occasional afternoon thunderstorm. This year it was very wet and
my
peppers paid the price.

To those of you on this list that I bought seeds from. I send you my thanks
for great quality seeds. I got great germination rates from all of them.

I am excited about the year to come.
