This mix gets piled outside and aged for a year. We get about 2000 pounds a year. The uncomposted top half of the pile we use as mulch around the plants, eventually about 6" deep. We apply it after the soil is well warmed up. This keeps out the weeds and feeds the soil. The bottom half of the pile ends up looking like potting soil. We use it as compost. So, in other words, we eat the sheep poop. We just run it through some veggie plants first.... Same for the horse poop and chicken poop. Hobby Farmer
