I am a big fan of New Mexico Chiles including the Chiles from New Mexico State University. I sell Espanola Improved and Chimayo and would love to sell seed for Velarde if they are available from a commercial wholesaler. The hottest Nu-Mex Chile that I know of is Nu-Mex Barker or Barker's Hot. The Hatch Chile that seems to be most popular is Nu-Mex Big Jim named after the father of the biggest Hatch retailer. I will do so:-) > Very few, but long term and Native New Mexicans, realize that the best > chiles in New Mexico are actually the originals from Espanola, Chimayo > and Velarde, (all of the "original green chile" from New Mexico).
