I saw the following recipes in an issue of Martha
Stewart Living a long time ago and put them in
Mastercook. I tried them too as I was putting together
stuff for holiday gifts - thought it would be great to
make big batches of seasonings, and put some in with a
packet or two of good popcorn. It was a big hit.
For a few weeks before I sent them, I made big batches
of each of these and tried them. They were all tasty.
You can spice them up even more with a different kind
of chile such as chipotle or habanero or something
exotic, since a lot of us grow exotic chiles and dry
them.
I haven't tried them with anything other than what she
listed but I am sure some, such as Southwestern or
Cajun, could be made much spicier with a different
chile (maybe pequin??).
Anyway, here they are...
