[CH] Weatherand food along I 5

I plan to drive up I-5 from Sacramento, CA to Roseburg, Oregon tomorrow
to look at property in Douglas County.  I read that there are farms and
nice growing conditions for lavender, dahlias,  and roses and maybe
blueberries.  But haven't heard anything about chilies and tomatoes, so
if any of you have any information about our favorite subjects, it would
be much appreciated.  ;-)

Because of the storm right now--winds, rain, and snow according to
AccuWeather and tv news reports, I was hoping that some you people who
live in the I-5 corridor could give me feedback regarding the weather in
your area that I would encounter during the trip!

And... any suggestions about good places to eat our favorite foods . ;-)
