Just want to report that the experiment is working very well. Lots & lots of blooms on the plants just under the lights and plants not under the lights have no blooms. I saw about a half dozen pods that had set. Too soon to tell if they will abort or not.

The 3rd year red rocoto in my living room window is also blooming and setting pods where in past years it didn't. This is the first year that I have tried using near normal amounts of fertilizer instead of starving the plants in the winter. Apparently adequate lighting, fertilizer & temps equals pods. Doh!

And I'm still harvesting those C. pubs from Guatemala and a couple of C. pubs from Ecuador. Not a lot of pods every week, but steady & I keep wondering where they came from as they are hard to spot when green.
