I recommend the variety named Medusa, cute little plants that seem to have no stems. They have clusters of erect pods, and they take up very little space - so perhaps they could form a border under a larger variety. http://www.angelfire.com/oh/alexsleaves/images/256medusa.JPG I'm also partial to the variety named Pointsetta - also erect pods, in very pretty clusters, on medium-height plants. http://www.angelfire.com/oh/alexsleaves/images/256pointset.JPG One other point of bias I have about these as ornamentals for your application - the fruit actually looks like chile peppers, unlike some varieties with round pods that some people at first mistake for some other type of fruit. - A _________________________________________________________________ Get tax tips, tools and access to IRS forms – all in one place at MSN Money! http://moneycentral.msn.com/tax/home.asp
