Worse than thorns :-) They have peppers the size of a BB.

In the early days of my 'I'm going to be a chile pepper supplier
magnate' I threw some Thai chiles in the ground & then offered them for
sale by the pound. A local food service distributor wanted 5 pounds of
them. My first order!! I was so pround and happy... until I tried to
pick 5 lbs of them :-) I gave him two pounds and told him there was a
crop failure & removed them from sale.

As my daddy always said: "The burnt finger teaches best" :-)
